Fall 2023 is fast approaching and I have One Question. What are we wearing?!! In this post we are talking about the beautiful color trends that will make you stand out this fall 2023 season.
Before you go out and spend your hard earned money on this season’s fashion trends, PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHOP YOUR CLOSET FIRST!!
- This will help you determine what you have and the pieces your closet needs to effortlessly put together an outfit on a daily basis.
- I know you are scrolling your favorite social media influencers with their trendy fall recommendations at the moment, But… I suggest carefully picking a wearable trend that fits well with your overall style aesthetic but most importantly your lifestyle (especially if you plan to spend top dollar).
- Wearability is Key!! When you are making fashion decisions, you should get multiple wears out of a piece. Also, picture yourself being able to have these items for future fashion seasons to come. Even if I sell or donate a clothing item at the end of a season, I never buy anything intending not to wear it multiple times or have it for more than a season or two. But if I have issues styling a clothing item, I will donate or sell it to make room in my wardrobe.

The Pantone color trends for the fall/winter 2023/2024 were posted! Now granted, wear whatever color makes you happy and feel confident. However, knowing the fall color trends can help guide you when we start making your fall/winter fashion purchases. Well, that’s what the Pantone color trends are. It starts from luxury designers, then ends up on the Runway, and trickles down to the high street fashion retailers. When you as the consumer participate in a trendy hue, they were chosen by the fashion Gods (lol) for you. Also, they become your investments for the year. This includes shoes, hats, belts, and jewelry.

I am pretty much a Black, Navy, Cream, & Taupe girl no matter the season. But this fall, it’s nice to see these vibrant pops of color such as the yellow, orange, and magenta.
According to Instyle magazine (The Fall 2023 Colors Everyone Will Be Wearing (instyle.com)), the colors of the season are Yellow or Butter cup, Clay (which can appear like a reddish brown or Cinnamon), Magenta, Cream, Red, Burgundy, and Chocolate Brown.
In addition to Magenta and Red I have also gravitated towards Blush Pink and Navy (not the color trend, I know) for the newer pieces I have added to my wardrobe. But I will definitely add more pops of red and magenta pieces to my wardrobe as well. It’s beautiful how those two colors marry when worn together but apart it can be a focal point with your best fitting jeans, skirt, or trousers. But when you can get a jumpsuit that puts these two colors together is perfect Chef’s Kiss!)
